About DZ Football
Just you, your gut, and a scoreboard that never lies. DZ Football aka DZF is a football community built for people who watch football religiously and are quietly convinced they'd be better at picking results than the pundits on TV.
The Story
What started in 2015 with three friends and a Messenger group chat — typing out scoreline predictions before kickoff, bragging rights the only prize on the table, moved into Google Sheets, where it stayed for over ten years: rows of matches, columns of guesses, and a running tally nobody ever quite let go of.
DZ Football has that same tradition, just no longer held together by spreadsheet formulas and copy-pasted rows — now a proper web community, open to more than just the original three, but built on the same idea that's kept it going for a decade: predict the match, back your gut, see who's actually right.
What you can do here
- Predict every match — exact scorelines, one at a time or a whole matchday in one go with Predict All. Predict also top goalscorer, top goal assist, most yellow cards, and most red cards.
- Track team stats — expected goals (xG), goals per match, goals conceded per match, and average possession, ranked across every team.
- News — Read the news. A live feed so you're never out of the loop before kickoff.
- Calendar — Keep track of what's coming. The calendar lays out every upcoming matchdays, tournament registration windows and deadlines in one place.
- Tournaments — Join tournaments. Real competitions with real standings, DZ Coins tracking and a leaderboard that updates as results come in.
- Match Picks — Jump into Match Picks. No registration, no fee, open to the whole community. If there's a match worth predicting, it's here.
- Rankings — Climb the rankings. Every prediction counts toward your career-long standing against everyone else.
- Archives — Look back at what's been played and happened in the past. The archives hold every finished tournament, standings and all, so nothing's ever really gone.
- Transfers — Track the market. The latest transfers, ranked by value, so you know who's actually moving.
- Teams — Browse the teams. Every club and national team tracked in the system, in one directory.
- Podcasts — Watch and listen. The latest podcast videos, all in one place.
- Highlights — Catch up on the action. The latest highlight videos, all in one place.
- Historical — Relive the classics. Historical match videos, all in one place.
- Quiz — Guess the player. A new football quiz every day, the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard.
- Head to Head — Challenge someone to a one-matchday duel and build an all-time record against them.
- Rivalries — Pick one rival per tournament and follow the points gap between you after every matchday.
- Profile — Your stats, your history. And it's not just about you: look up any other participant's profile too and see how they stack up.
Quiz 🧩
Think you know your footballers? Every day DZ Football serves up a fresh "Guess the player" quiz — five questions, the same for everyone, and a leaderboard that doesn't forgive a slow finger.
- Three kinds of questions — a blurred photo, a career told only by the clubs and the years, or a player's numbers from one of our own tournaments. Pick the right name out of four.
- Points — 3 points for a right answer. Stuck? The 50:50 takes away two wrong names, but then a right answer is worth 1. A wrong answer gets nothing, and every question has one try.
- Against the clock — The clock starts when you press Start and stops at your last answer. Level on points? The faster one ranks higher.
- Leaderboard — Today's ranking, and the all-time table: total points, days played, days won and perfect days.
- A new quiz every day — A new one arrives at midnight (Tallinn time), and the players come from the tournaments played here. Nobody turns up twice within two months.
Head to Head ⚔️
Some arguments can't wait for the final standings. Call someone out for a single matchday, and let the points settle it.
- Throw down the challenge — Open the other person's Profile, press Challenge, then pick a tournament you both play (or Match Picks) and a matchday that hasn't kicked off yet.
- Accept or decline — The bell tells them, and they answer from the Duels card on their Profile. A challenge that isn't accepted before the matchday's first kick-off expires, and you can withdraw yours until then.
- Who wins — Whoever scores more match points on that matchday wins. A Joker counts double, and equal points are a draw. The score updates live, and the duel is settled once the matchday's last match has ended.
- All-time record — Every duel between the same two people adds to your won / drawn / lost record against each other.
Rivalries 🎯
Every tournament has that one person you really want to finish ahead of. Make it official.
- Pick your rival — In a tournament you play, open its Overview tab and pick one other participant as your rival. One rival per tournament, and you can change or drop them any time.
- They'll know — Your rival gets a note in the bell saying you've picked them.
- The running gap — The Overview shows the match points gap between you two after every matchday, the OPP gap and both places right now, and how many matchdays you've won, drawn and lost against each other.
- Look at others — Open another participant in the Overview to see who their rival is and how that's going.
How it works
Exact score = maximum points. Right result, wrong scoreline = partial credit. Wrong outcome entirely = nothing. Simple rules, real stakes among friends — check the Regulations below for the full breakdown of scoring and tournament rules.
Community Regulations

Rankings
The Rankings are your whole DZF career: every tournament you've played, added together.
- Participant — The player.
- OPP — Overall Prediction Points — Your OPP from every tournament added together. Shown with one decimal.
- MPP — Match Prediction Points — Your match points from every tournament added together.
- TP — Three Pointers — Every exact score you've ever predicted.
- OP — One Pointers — Every right outcome without the exact score.
- ZP — Zero Pointers — Every prediction with a wrong outcome.
- IP — Invalid Predictions — Every finished match you didn't predict, in the tournaments you played.
- PP — Predictions Placed — Every prediction you've made.
- AR — Accuracy Rate — Your career share of the maximum possible match points, missed matches counted as 0. Until you've played plenty of matches it leans towards everyone's average, so one lucky exact score doesn't put you on top.
- CTP — Closest To Perfect — Your career average of how close your scorelines are (1.00 = perfect, lower is better), counted over every match you've predicted.
- TE — Tournaments Entered — How many tournaments you've registered for that are running or have ended.
- BPA — Best Place Achieved — Your best final place in a tournament that has ended.
- DZC — DZ Coins — All the prize DZ Coins you've won in tournaments that have ended.
- RC — Ranking Change — How many places you've moved up (▲) or down (▼) in the Rankings. The comparison point is updated at most every 12 hours.
The Rankings are ordered the same way as the Standings: higher OPP, higher MPP, higher TP, higher OP, lower IP, higher PP, lower ZP and finally the name (A to Z).
Sealed Predictions
Nobody gets to copy anyone. Your predictions stay sealed until the ball is rolling — you see your own, and you can enter or change them right up to kick-off, but everyone else's stay hidden until it's too late to borrow them.
- Match Hub — Before a match kicks off you only see your own prediction for it. Everyone else's cell shows 🔒 if they've already predicted, or – if they haven't yet. The moment that match kicks off, all predictions for it are revealed — match by match, so in the same matchday the early kick-offs open up while the later ones stay sealed. Earlier matchdays are always shown in full.
- Stats Hub — Before the tournament's first match kicks off you only see your own Final Bet, Top Scorer, Most Assists, Most Yellow Cards and Most Red Cards picks. Once the first match kicks off, everyone's picks are on the table.
Final Four System
The last stretch of every tournament — the semi-finals, the third-place match and the final — plays by tighter rules, so the race at the top stays a surprise until the very last whistle.
- Revealed at full time — In these matches, everyone else's prediction is shown in the Match Hub only once the match has ended, not at kick-off. Until then you see 🔒 for anyone who has predicted, and your own prediction as always.
- No live points — While a Final Four match is being played it doesn't count yet: the Standings, the Rankings, everyone's OPP, MPP, CF, CTP and Status stay as they were. The moment the match has ended, its points are added and everything updates at once. Every other match still counts live, as soon as goals go in.
- When it has ended — A match has ended once its final result is confirmed (full time, or after extra time and penalties).

Standings
Every tournament has its own Standings table. What each column means:
- # — Your place in the tournament.
- Participant — The player.
- OPP — Overall Prediction Points — Your total score, and what decides the places: MPP + points for correct stat picks (top goalscorer, most assists, most yellow cards, most red cards — counted live, for whoever is leading that stat right now) + CF. Shown with one decimal.
- MPP — Match Prediction Points — Points from match predictions only: points for every exact score plus points for every correct outcome (by default 3 and 1, as set in the tournament's Prediction Points System). Your Joker match counts double (see Joker below).
- TP — Three Pointers — How many matches you predicted with the exact score.
- OP — One Pointers — How many matches you got the right outcome (win, draw or loss) but not the exact score.
- ZP — Zero Pointers — How many of your predictions got nothing: the outcome was wrong.
- IP — Invalid Predictions — Finished matches you didn't predict at all.
- PP — Predictions Placed — How many predictions you've made in the tournament, including matches that haven't been played yet.
- AR — Accuracy Rate — The share of the maximum possible match points you actually earned: MPP ÷ (finished matches × points for an exact score). Matches you didn't predict count as 0, so skipping matches doesn't help. The Joker's extra points don't count here, so it can't push AR over what you actually got right.
- CF — Clutch Factor — How well you predict when it matters most. Starts from the play-offs: every play-off match you predicted gives 1 ÷ (1 + goals off) — an exact score 1.0, one goal off 0.5, two goals off 0.33 and so on. CF is all of these added up, shown with one decimal, and it's part of OPP.
- CTP — Closest To Perfect — How close your scorelines are on average: 1 + the average number of goals you were off per match. 1.00 is perfect — every score exact — and lower is better. Your CTP also gives you your Status.
- RC — Ranking Change — How many places you've moved up (▲) or down (▼) in this tournament's standings since the last change.
- DZC — DZ Coins — The prize for the top three places, from the tournament's DZ Coins.
Places are decided in this order, each one only when players are level on everything before it: higher OPP, higher MPP, higher TP, higher OP, lower IP, higher PP, lower ZP and finally the name (A to Z).
Joker 🃏
One card, one match, double the stakes. Every participant gets a single Joker per tournament — play it on the match you're most sure about (or the one you fancy a gamble on) and that match's points count twice.
- Playing it — In the tournament's Fixtures, press 🃏 on any match that hasn't kicked off yet. The card lights up gold on that match.
- Changing your mind — Until kick-off you can move the Joker to another match that hasn't started, or take it back altogether by pressing the gold 🃏 again.
- Locked at kick-off — Once your Joker's match kicks off, the Joker is played for good and can't be moved. One Joker per tournament — there's no second one.
- Double points — That match's points are doubled: an exact score gives 6 instead of 3, the right outcome 2 instead of 1 (with the default Prediction Points System), a wrong outcome is still 0. The doubled points count in MPP and OPP, the Standings and the Rankings, and show in the Match Hub with a 🃏 in your cell.
- Counts stay counts — TP, OP and ZP still count matches, not points, and AR is worked out without the Joker's extra points.
- Sealed like predictions — Nobody else can see where your Joker is until its match kicks off. No prediction on your Joker match means no points — doubled zero is still zero.
- Tournaments only — The Joker is for registered participants of a tournament. Match Picks has no Joker.

Privacy & Terms
How DZ Football handles your data, and the rules for using the site. Last updated 27 October 2026.
🔒 Privacy Policy
DZ Football ("DZF", "we") is a private football prediction community run by its administrators. This policy explains what personal data we keep about you, why, who can see it, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: info@dzf.ee.
What we keep
- Account — your username, full name, email address, password, role, who invited you (referrer) and when you joined.
- Profile — your photo, birthday (day and month only, no year), favourite club and nation, and your bank account number (IBAN) if you add one.
- Game activity — your predictions, Jokers, picks, points, rankings, tournament entries, duels, rivals, quiz answers and the statistics worked out from them.
- DZ Coins — your balance and every movement: Adds, Pulls, transfers to and from other members, participation fees, winnings and donations.
- Messages — what you write in the Community and Team chats and in private chats, including photos, files and GIFs you share, and your reactions.
- Settings and activity — your preferences (email notifications, matches you follow, notes, bookmarks, calendar choices), your notifications, and when you were last active (shown as your online status).
- Technical data — a login token kept in your browser so you stay logged in (for 30 days with "Remember me", otherwise until you close the browser), a few settings remembered in your browser (such as where you placed a popup), and the IP address and browser details that our hosting provider's server logs record for every visit.
Why we keep it
- To run your account and the game: predictions, scoring, standings, tournaments and DZ Coins.
- To show your profile, results and chat messages to the other members — that's the point of a community.
- To send you emails about your account, DZ Coins and the game (you choose which in Profile → Preferences → Email notifications; emails about your account itself are always sent).
- To pay out your Pulls and winnings to your bank account.
- To wish you a happy birthday: on your birthday DZ Bot posts a message in the Community chat.
- To keep the site safe and working: preventing abuse, fixing problems, enforcing the Terms of Use.
We process your data because it is needed to provide the service you signed up for, and for our legitimate interest in running a safe community. We never sell your data, show ads or build advertising profiles.
Who can see it
- Other members — your username, photo, favourite teams, online status, predictions (after kick-off), points, rankings, statistics, duels, rivals and what you post in group chats. Your private chats are seen by the person you write to.
- Admins — everything needed to run the site, including your email, full name, birthday, bank account, DZ Coins movements and your password. Moderators see what the Admins give them access to.
- Our hosting provider — stores the site and its database on our behalf.
- Third-party services — videos are played from YouTube, and GIFs are shown from GIPHY; when you watch or see one, those services receive your IP address under their own privacy policies. Donations go through Revolut. Football data (scores, teams, players) is fetched by our server, so no personal data of yours is sent with it.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. If you delete your profile (Profile → Preferences → Delete profile), it disappears from the site at once, but a copy is kept so it can be restored if you change your mind; an Admin erases that copy for good on request. Records of DZ Coins movements may be kept longer where needed for bookkeeping. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited time.
Your rights
You can see and change most of your data yourself in your Profile and Preferences. You also have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to take it with you. Write to info@dzf.ee and we'll answer within a month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to personal data is limited to the Admins, and you should use a password you don't use anywhere else. No system is perfectly secure; if something ever goes wrong with your data, we'll tell you.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date above changes and important changes are announced on the site.
📜 Terms Of Use
By registering and using DZ Football you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Questions: info@dzf.ee.
1. The community
DZ Football is a private, invitation-based community for predicting football matches. New accounts are approved by the Admins, who may refuse a registration without giving a reason. You must be at least 18 years old to join.
2. Your account
- One account per person. Keep your details correct and your password to yourself — you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Your username and photo must not be offensive or pretend to be someone else.
- Tell an Admin straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Playing fair
- The game rules, scoring and tournament rules are in the Regulations on this page, and they are part of these terms.
- No multiple accounts, no sharing predictions to fix results, no exploiting bugs — report bugs instead (🐞 in the top bar).
- Results come from outside data sources and are occasionally wrong or late. The Admins may correct results, points and standings; their decision is final.
4. DZ Coins
- DZ Coins are the site's own coins, used for tournament participation fees, winnings, transfers between members and donations.
- Adds are confirmed by an Admin once your bank transfer has arrived; Pulls are paid to the bank account in your profile. Please check that account number carefully — a payment made to a wrong number you gave us can't always be recovered.
- Fees, prizes and how winnings are shared are set per tournament and shown before you register.
- An Admin may correct a movement made by mistake, and may hold back DZ Coins gained by breaking these terms.
5. Behaviour in chats and posts
- Banter is welcome; abuse isn't. No harassment, hate, threats, spam, illegal content, or other people's private information.
- Only post photos and files you have the right to share. You keep the rights to what you post, but you allow DZ Football to show it on the site for as long as it stays there.
- Admins and Moderators may remove content, mute, ban or delete accounts that break these terms.
6. Content and data on the site
Football data, logos, videos and news shown on the site belong to their owners and are shown for information only. The site's own design, texts and code belong to DZ Football. Don't copy, scrape or resell the site's content.
7. No guarantees
The site is provided as it is, by volunteers. We do our best to keep it running and correct, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that data won't ever be lost. To the extent the law allows, DZ Football is not liable for indirect losses arising from using the site. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
8. Ending
You can delete your profile at any time in Profile → Preferences. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or close the site; if the site closes, members will be told in advance and remaining DZ Coins balances will be settled.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above changes and important changes are announced on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.
Donation
DZ Football runs on hosting, a database, and time — none of it free, all of it quietly paid for so the community can keep predicting matches without ads, paywalls, or anyone's data being sold off. If this site's been worth a matchday or two of your attention, a donation — big or small — goes straight toward keeping it running for everyone else too.
